Wonderful Things Blog Tour

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Wonderful Things Blog Tour.  What an inspiration to see what so many have created with this beautiful collection of fabric.  If you haven’t had a chance to check out all that has been shared already,  here is the full schedule.  Stay tuned because there is more beauty coming your way through the end of August.  Did you get a chance to see Sari’s beautiful table runner from yesterday?  If not, you must check it out!

Bonnie’s collection for Art Gallery Fabrics will once again bring inspiration and beauty to your homes.  The collection contains 20 beautiful cotton prints along with select prints in knits, voile, and canvas.

When I spotted the sweet floral border print, I knew I had to use it to make my Olivia’s Basket Pattern.  When I was designing my Olivia’s Baskets pattern I was working with a border fabric.  I didn’t want the basket to have a loose lining, but I also didn’t want the panel to be quilted through. I was so happy when I figured out the solution.  Below are a few photos of the medium size (9”) version.

The baskets are made with ByAnnie’s Soft and Stable — which is so easy to work. It also give great body and shape to any project with which you choose to use it. These baskets are completely finished with bound seams on the inside, which makes them reversible, for a different look.

The texture in each print is amazing.  I love the sweetness of this collection.

Thank you for stopping by and continuing along the Wonderful Things Blog journey.  There are still more treasures to come so don’t miss out!

Have a lovely day!

xoxo

  1. Kait, this is so beautiful! The border print was the perfect match for your basket. I LOVE the quilted inside and how they’re reversible. Perfect for so many things!! Honored to have you ‘on tour’ with us. 🙂 xox
