Catch all Caddy, Patterns by Annie, Purse Palooza, Sew Sweetness, Soft and Stable, Uncategorized

Purse Palooza

I was so excited the day that Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness asked me to be a guest pattern reviewer on her blog. She has organized a wonderful line up of purse pattern reviews for the whole month of October!  If you are into making bags, you should definitely head over there and take a gander at all of the wonderful bag patterns that are out in the world.  Aren’t we lucky to exist with such creative people all around us.

I chose to review one of Annie’s patterns.  Many of your know that I make many of her patterns. (I’m partially addicted to them, and Soft and Stable, and how can I forget her handbag zippers in 48 colors)!!
So here are a few pictures of my Catch All Caddy!

I enjoyed so much the chance to make this wonderful pattern.  And I am so happy to fill it with all my favorite sewing notions!  Can’t wait to take it to my next sewing night! Which very well may be tonight!

If you have come here seeking the wonderful blog giveaway, comment below for a chance to win a Catch All Caddy Pattern, Soft and Stable and also a finishing kit for the project!  Winner will be chosen Monday morning!!  Good luck to you all and thanks for stopping by!

This bag looks great. I currently keep all of my bits and bobs in an old biscuit tin, and it takes a while to find what I'm after, this pattern would really help with that.

You did a great job on this. I have a smaller organizer, but this one seems to be a step up.

  24. OMG – I really, really need an organizer bag like that!!! I do a lot of teaching and it would be great to have all my tools in one place instead of spread out all over the table. Love the colors you used too. I think I would make mine without the grab handles too 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win the pattern etc.

  25. Jake says:

Oh yes, this is a much better looking bag without the grab handle! I like the zippered end. I think I would try to modify this pattern to make it without binding (turning it like a purse pattern) as I hate binding! Not fond of the look of it on bags especially.

This would be perfect for retreats and sew-ins!

  66. Hi Kris – I'm SO excited to win this wonderful giveaway! I sent you an email but I'm at retreat and the server is "iffy", so please let me know if you received my info. If not, I'll try to send from my phone rather than reply to your email. Thanks so much!!!
